Yes, 12:00 am (midnight) to 6:30 am.
Do you have showers and restrooms?[TOP]
Yes, our showers house is air conditioned with flushing toilets, located in the basement of the camp store. We also have porta pots throughout the campground.
How many people fit on a campsite?[TOP]
All of our sites are different, just let us know how many tents and number of guests you have camping and we will arrange a site that will be perfect for you. If you have specific needs, please inform reservationist.
Are 4 wheelers, ATVs, dirt bikes, go-carts or golf carts allowed on premises?[TOP]
Only golf carts.
Do you have a camp store?[TOP]
Yes, and we have a variety of items for sale including t-shirts, tents, wood, ice, soft drinks, alcohol, cigarettes, water shoes, candy, ice-cream, lotions and much more.
Where do I put my trash?[TOP]
We provide dumpsters on the east side, just after entering the campground on left.
Do you have a swimming pool?[TOP]
We have the best! We call it the Current River and there are miles of it.
Are pets allowed?[TOP]
Yes, please see campground rules.
Is there a dump station on the premises?[TOP]
Yes, just after you enter the campground, it is on your left. Please ask camp host if you have trouble finding it.
What is the latest we can cancel and get our money back?[TOP]
Call by 11:00 am seven (7) full days prior to arrival date less a $10.00 service charge (see cancellation policy for details).
What is the busiest time of the season?[TOP]
July 4th weekend through Labor Day weekend.
How far in advance should I make my reservation?[TOP]
It's best 3 weeks to 2 months ahead. Last minute reservations are welcome depending on availability.
When do you open and close for the season?[TOP] Open by May and close after Labor Day weekend.
Do we need a reservation for floating?[TOP]
There is full service floating available in the campground which is provided by The Landing. They are set up on the left as you enter the campground. It 's best to call them at 573-323-8156 and make sure to tell them you are camping with Current River Campground.

How late can we check-in?[TOP]
To set up camp you must be at the office by 10:30 pm to check-in and set up by 11:00 pm on weekends. Weekdays or off season we will have to know your arrival time.
Do you require a deposit when making a reservation?[TOP]
We require that you pay the site rate for the number of nights you are going to stay.
Do you require a clean site deposit?[TOP]
Yes, upon check-in a $20.00 cash only deposit is required (see check-in policy).
Do you have BBQ grills?[TOP]
Sorry, you will need to bring your own.
Do you have fire rings or pits?[TOP]
Yes, please never leave fire unattended.
What amp are your RV sites?[TOP]
We can handle 30 and 50 amp plus 110 volt at all RV sites.
Do you have pull through RV sites?[TOP]
Yes, most are pull through, but not all.
Do you have a shuttle service to clubs or bars?[TOP]
Some of the local businesses do provide shuttle service starting at 9:00 pm running through 12:00 am (midnight). They will pick-up and return you back to the campground.
Do you have live entertainment?[TOP]
Yes, see schedule on web site. All subject to cancellation.
Do you have Sunday alcohol sales?[TOP]
Yes, at 9:00 am.
What kinds of fish do you fish for in the Current River?[TOP]
In this area locals fish for large and smallmouth bass, goggle-eye, perch, pike, yellow suckers, hog suckers, red horse, drum, carp, buffalo, flathead catfish and spoonbill mostly.
Do you have cabins?[TOP]
Sorry, we don't. Much more fun to camp, swim, BBQ and listen to live music under the stars!
